A great opportunity has become available for a reliable Qualified Dental Nurse to join our well established family run dental practice. Full and part time roles considered, based in Huddersfield. The role comes with a competitive salary of up to £12 - £14 per hour,depending on experience.Edgerton Dental Clinic is a well established clinic serving patients from Huddersfield and across Yorkshire. We regularly invest in our state-of-the-art facilities and the ongoing training of our dentists and dental support team to ensurethat our patient’s visits are as stress free as possible.Our dental practice is housed in an imposing and fully refurbished listed Georgian building close to parking and easily accessible for visitors on foot or arriving by vehicle or public transport.We take pride in offering a full range of high quality services including traditional family dentistry, childrens dentistry, services for those patients with dental anxiety and a full range of cosmetic dentistry procedures.About the Qualified Dental Nurse role:The role will involve working alongside our friendly team, and a well established list of Private/Denplan patientsIn return for joining as ourQualified Dental Nurse we can offer you:

Responsibilities as ourQualified Dental Nurse:

Providing top quality dental chair-side assistance
Ensuring the care and welfare of patients
Keeping the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile
Ensuring there is adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
Assisting Implants & Oral Surgery *Check and record implant stock *work alongside other nurses
Accurately completing and maintaining compliance records.
Ensuring efficient surgery procedures are followed to achieve optimum utilisation of surgery time
Attending refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR

What we are looking for in our Qualified Dental Nurse:

Be GDC Registered
Have a personable and positive approach to patient care.
Be able to demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills
DBS Checked
Immunisation history required
Vaccinated against Hepatitis B
