Job Description

PARAPLANNERHuddersfieldSALARY: £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (negotiable) plus benefitsAn excellent opportunity to join a Financial Planning Practice. Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner, who can join the company and have an immediate impact, supporting the Financial Planners with a view of providing first class financial advice to their clients.The role will be to:

  • Provide hands on technical support to the Financial Advisors in relation to Financial Advice provided to the firms clients.
  • Review existing financial products, research suitable solutions, preparing recommendations and conduct full report writing.
  • Able to conduct research for appropriate pensions and investments.
  • Good understanding of compliance issues.
  • Ability to use financial planning tools, financial modelling and back office software.
    • Requirements:
  • Ideally you will hold your Diploma Level 4 with a desire to achieve further qualifications, but consideration will be given to individuals who are close to securing the Diploma Level 4.
  • Ideally a minimum 2 years previous experience within a Paraplanning capacity.
  • Good financial service knowledge and an understanding of personal taxation.
  • Experience of report writing and conducting whole of the market product research.
