Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting the role Operations Director for a leading textiles manufacturer who have a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.As our client continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an experienced and commercial Operations Director to lead manufacturing operations and drive their continued success.This Operations Director role duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • You will provide strategic direction and leadership to the manufacturing team, ensure efficient and effective operations are in place across the plant
  • Support cross functional departments of the business, to execute the long-term strategy, cost and profit exercises, not compromising on quality and striving for lean world class manufacturing standards
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement with enhanced efficiencies and processes in place to reduce cost and increase output whilst maintaining product quality and safety standards
  • You will manager human and material resources, ensuring production and workforce planning targets are supported with efficient equipment maintenance and raw material procurement
  • Ensure all employees comply with health and safety policies and standards
  • Review and report regularly on KPIs towards the goals of the executive team
Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are keen to speak to individuals that are able to demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:
  • You will be Degree educated in either Manufacturing, Engineering or Business, Master’s qualification highly desirable
  • 5 Years’ minimum operating in a senior operational and leadership role, preferably from a textile manufacturing with a strong knowledge of textiles manufacturing; process and equipment
  • Demonstrable skills in the delivery of operational excellence
  • You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, this is a must for this role and to really drive forward manufacturing operations
  • Desire and commitment to sustainability highly desirable
