Job Description

Mechanical Service Engineer required. My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial Fan systems that also undertake installation, commissioning and servicing of these products. They are looking for a Mechanically biased Service Engineerto join their team in huddersfield and look after customer sites across the UK. The ideal candidate will come from a Service and maintenance background, have experienced with rotating equipment and will be based within a commutable distance of Huddersfield.You will need a full Driving licence for this role.Mechanical Service Engineer Position Overview

  • Undertaking Mechanical Fault finding, service and maintenance works on company equipment
  • Taking part in installation and commissioning duties as required
  • Working on a wide range of Industrial ventilation equipment including Axial Fans, Centrifugal Fans as well as Bespoke systems
  • Travelling to customer sites throughout the country
  • Completing weekly timesheets and expense forms
  • Working in line with any active permits / legislation
Mechanical Service Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Field Service position is essential
  • Experience servicing and maintaining rotating equipment
  • Any experience with industrial fans would be highly beneficial
  • A strong Mechanical basis is required for this role, any electrical experience would be a bonus
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK with the role
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Based locally to Huddersfield
Mechanical Service Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours a week
  • Door to Door pay
  • 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • Company Van, Phone, Tools and Credit card
  • Pension
