Job Description

One of Yorkshires leading law firms are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to be based at their Huddersfield office. Ideal candidate skills and qualifications :
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of Private Client work or will have worked in a similar practice area.
  • It is essential that you have first class organisational skills and that you have a confident but reassuring approach.
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • You will need to possess excellent IT skills in both Microsoft Office and case management systems
Duties Include:
  • Audio-typing.
  • Liaising with clients and other parties on behalf of fee earners and dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
  • Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required.
  • Producing documents from the Case Management system.
  • Management of the files under the fee earner’s direction from opening files to preparing them for archiving.
  • Filing, photocopying, collating of documents and other clerical duties
