We thrive in ensuring we make a positive impact on schools and students lives.Join our team as a Learning Support Worker at Engage Education and play a crucial role in empowering students to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them understand and engage with their coursework effectively.- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to develop personalized learning plans that cater to individual student requirements.- Assist students in developing essential study skills, time management, and organizational techniques to enhance their academic performance.- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to overcome challenges.- Utilize a variety of teaching and communication strategies to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your support techniques as needed to ensure continuous improvement.- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and achievements.Qualifications:- A strong commitment to helping students succeed and a genuine passion for education.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.- Previous experience in a similar role or an educational background in psychology, special education, or related fields is a plus.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.- Flexibility to work with students of different age groups and learning levels.Why choose Engage Education
