Sewell Wallis are currently working with a well-known retail business based on the outskirts of Huddersfield. They have recently received a significant investment to continue growing their stores and with this comes the need for some experienced financeprofessionals to join their team.They are now looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, to lead a small team and to influence the business performance through effective analysis and business partnering. This is a pivotable role in the business that reports into an experienced FinanceDirector and will give you excellent commercial exposure to the wider business.As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, your role will include the following: --Business partnering with the Retail Director to ensure all stores are profitable and running efficiently-Managing a team of 3 analysts, supporting them with regular one to ones and development plans-Overview of the monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics and Central costs-Ownership of the weekly trading pack-Managing the budget process and quarterly cash flow forecasting-Regular performance reviews for both stories and e-commerce with heads of departments and regional managers-Ownership and analysis of e-commerce P&L-Lead central cost performance reviews-Interpretation of all financial/management information, making commercial and financial recommendations to senior management-Provide financial analysis to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions-Analyse and scope new business opportunities within stores and new business partnersTo be considered for this opportunity you need to be a qualified accountant and have experience working in a fast paced and commercial environment. You must be confident in presenting to key stakeholders and have strong excel/analytical skills.
