Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established Key Client based in Huddersfield who have a requirement for a temporary Fleet Support Administrator - this role may go permanent to the right candidate - immediate start.The hours are 37.5 Monday to Friday - 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.You will be part of a busy Fleet Support Service Department, providing proficient and effective administrative support.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a busy, fast paced environment and will have the ability to multi-task, work with limited supervision, and be able to communicate with Suppliers/Workshops and Planners. They will havea good working knowledge of the transport industry, with A good working knowledge of computerised systems, particularly Microsoft Office is essential to the role.Main duties:-Complete duties in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, Maintenance Policy, Corporate TQM System and the Key2 Fleet Management System.-Plan, co-ordinate and execute all compliance events, ensuring all vehicles are legal and compliance and all Earned Recognition KPI are met, utilising the Jaama Key2 Fleet Management System.-Manage all ancillary equipment maintenance, tank testing, vehicle taxation, ADR, SLP renewal, 6 monthly testing of Fire Extinguisher and Hoses.-Ownership of any missed events ensuring they are rescheduled within the compliance window.-Review, challenge and record compliance paperwork and update Jaama Key 2 system to ensure Earned Recognition KPI are met.-Ownership and account management of a fleet supplier, to ensure current, SLA is adhered to by arranging review meetings, gathering data for review, setting agenda, issuing meeting minutes.-Reconcile monthly assets list, raise monthly purchase orders for Rental, Tyres, Hoses and Fire Extinguishers in a timely manner.-Maximise vehicle uptime by ensuring compliance events are carried out in a timely manner.-Track, monitor and record daily VOR logs, for unscheduled workshop visits, challenge and pursuit excessive VOR.-Efficient administration of management information on, vehicle downtime / compliance penalties, dropped load data and fleet availability performance across all contracts.-Suppling replacement fleet decals to locations and workshops.-Management of company fuel card administration including issue, cancellation and renewal-Carry out any additional duties or provide support to other areas of the Fleet Support function on request from the Maintenance Control Manager or Fleet Administration Manager.Requirements:Essential: The successful individual will: Experience in a similar Administrative role Able to work in a fast-paced environment but remain focused Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficient in IT including Microsoft OfficeOutlook, Word and Excel Ability to manage time effectively Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to manage time effectivelyDesirable: The successful individual will: Have proven transport industry experience.
