Job Description

They will also need to be effective in an income targetted environment and will be well rewarded in return.The candidate will be specialising in private family work. They will have experience of the following:-

  1. Divorce proceedings
  2. Financial matters upon divorce
  3. Private Children Act cases
  4. Family Law Act applications
  5. Cohabitation and Separation Agreements
  6. Legal Aid
Candidates will be considered for either a part time or full time role depending upon their experience.They need to be a team player, but driven and motivated to do well. A caring individual with a good sense of humour is vital.If this appeals to you, your responsibilities will include:
  • Day to day handling of a wide variety of cases in accordance with quality standards.
  • Taking instructions from and conducting matters on behalf of clients in a timely manner with clear communication.
  • Working as part of a team in dealing with new clients and proactively seeking new business
  • Participation in marketing activities to promote the department services and the firm as a whole.
  • Proficient in charging for services and knowledge of the eligibility criteria for legal aid.

  • Must demonstrate excellent client care skills - empathy to clients in a difficult situation is vital.

  • Good written and verbal communication to deal with a broad range of clients and the willingness to provide the highest standard of client care.
