JM188: Electronic Assembly TraineeLocation: HuddersfieldSalary: NMWOverview :Perceptive Recruitment are seeking an Electrical Assembly Trainee for our client in the Huddersfield area. This role is with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate. There will be opportunity for progression, along with incentives such as - attendancebonus, profit related bonus and performance bonus. Immediate start available.The work is very varied, interesting, light, and clean. The workshop environment is excellent, with plenty of natural daylight. Our existing team is very hard working, professional in their work ethos, and provide a cheerful and open working atmosphere.The role includes PCB assembly, Cable and wiring loom assembly, Chassis and Electromechanical assembly, high level, semi-skilled and skilled technical production assembly work: PCB assembly including SMT, standard THP and fine pitch work, component placing and solder Cable working including cutting, stripping, crimping and solder using a wide range of cables and connectors from simple to high specification assemblies to IPC Level 3 standard Panel wiring and work on cable and metal assembliesWork is carried out to clear written, computer generated, instructions and schedules. Inexperienced applicants are given full training. Applicants with no previous electronic experience, but with the right attributes, will expect to achieve top performance across the full range of work in up to 2 years. Personal attributes: Well organised Good hand to eye co-ordination Reliable Ability to follow written, pictorial and verbal working instructions Patience and an eye for detail Dexterity Ability to consistently produce high quality work Must be adaptable and have the ability to multi-skill Open to learningHours:Normal - 38 hour week Monday to Friday. Overtime is not normally worked, but recruits are required to support with reasonable additional hours during busy periods.Holiday: 5.6 weeks Per Annum.Attendance bonus of 1 extra week for zero absence accrued on a quarterly basis. All holidays are subject to management discretion.Training hours may be slightly reduced during initial induction and training to accommodate best support.
