Job Description

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an bespoke manufacturing company based in the Meltham, Huddersfield area, who are looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team with immediate effect. Salary: £38,000 Location: Meltham- Huddersfield Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-5pmBenefits:

Duties of a Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
  • Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
  • Responsible for all site electrical installations and equipment
  • Upskilling current machinery as is all built in house
  • PPM’s and breakdowns
  • Liaising with production team at all times
  • May be required to be on call occasionally depending on the needs of the business
  • Ordering spare parts
  • Working towards being a Multi-skilled engineer, taking part in mechanical engineering tasks also
  • Following health and safety and legislations at all times
  • Working within a manufacturing environment, on machines such as extrusion, forming, wrapping lines, granulators, bagging machines, valves, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Constantly working to improvement plans to make the business the best it can be
Desired experience of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
  • Must have manufacturing experience.
  • Must have experience with reactive maintenance and PPM’s on a daily basis
  • Ideally have experience with extrusion machines, wrapping lines, bagging machines, valves, hydraulics and pneumatics but not essential
  • Must be happy being on call occasionally if needed
  • Have some mechanical knowledge however the role is predominantly Electrical maintenance engineering
