Job Description

Here at Prospero Health and Social Care we are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic FULL TIME Domiciliary Care AssistantsAn exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen to support a range of different aged vulnerable individuals with a diverse range of needs, including learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, and complex challenging behaviour in a community caresetting. You will be required to take care of the individuals needs, Provide physical and emotional care and support. Manage the well-being and behaviours ensuring significant behavioural or physical occurrences are addressed and managed accordingly, Dealwith a range of mental health issues and support routines.What we require:

  • DRIVER ESSENTIAL- community care requires a driver.
  • At least 6 Months work experience in a care setting in the UK(MUST HAVE)
  • 3 years of references without gaps(MUST HAVE)
  • The ability to adapt and act accordingly to situations.
  • A high level of patience and emotional resilience.
  • A non-judgemental attitude regardless of a persons needs.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Experience of working in a similar setting.
  • DBS check on the update service and all required checks as well as clean criminal record.
  • An over seas police check if required
  • Preferable but not essential to have qualifications in relevant subject to health and social care.
