Job Description

Bennett & Game have the pleasure of representing a well-established RIBA Chartered Practice based in Huddersfield who are looking to take on a Design Manager to join their team of talented individuals. Design Manager Position Overview
  • Overseeing the technical detailing and quality control of the teams drawings & details
  • Providing high level technical advice to existing team whilst supporting and training of less experienced staff
  • Work on a variety of social housing projects through all RIBA plan of works
  • Produce and oversee high-quality drawings on AutoCAD & Revit
  • Attendance at Client and Contractor Design/Technical review meetings
  • Management of RFIs and IRSs
Design Manager Position Requirements
  • High level construction technical knowledge
  • Proficient user AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign (proficient in Revit preferable)
  • MCIAT qualified preferable
  • Proven experience in a comparable Design Office environment
  • A thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations is essential (to include all stages of the RIBA plan of works)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A team player with the determination to drive projects forward
