Dental Decontamination LeadLocation: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 5NE.Salary: £11.50p/h.Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday working, 8 hours per day.About usEdgerton Dental Clinic is a well-established clinic serving patients from Huddersfield and across Yorkshire. We regularly invest in our state-of-the-art facilities and the ongoing training of our dentists and dental support team to ensure that all visitsare as stress free as possible.We are currently recruiting for a Dental Decontamination Lead to join our team.About the rolePrevious experience is desirable but not essential.Hep B vaccination will be required.FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.The main duties will be: Preparing the environment cleaning instruments and machinery as appropriate in the decontamination room and dental surgeries. Providing fully sterilised equipment that is compliant to practice policies, procedures and the HTM01-05 guidelines. (which well give you full training on) Selecting and using correct cleaning equipment for a range of routine and specialist tasks. Monitoring the general cleanliness of the practice throughout the working day, stocking up consumables as required. Applying the principals of hygiene to the role, such as excellent hand hygiene and cross infection procedures. Communicating with colleagues, patients and visitors in a professional manner You will be responsible ensuring surgeries are supplied with sufficient clean/sterilised instruments. You will undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities You will accurately complete validation and Testing log books as directed and follow the ordering procedure to order new supplies as necessary.COVID-19 considerations: Full PPE and training providedAdvantageous skills: What were looking for in you You will be a team player and a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards.
