Job Description

My well established Environmental and Construction Client is looking for 2 Contracts administrators to join their team in Huddersfield.Paying between £30 to £35k depending on experience.Job Role

  • Responsible for the coordination of the construction contracts and installations.
  • Understand and coordinate the contracts, ensuring all parties are complicit with the terms and conditions of the contract and that all contracts abide by relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure contracts are executed to agreed terms.
  • Duties
  • Understand and coordinate contracts for installations
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure installations are undertaken
  • Control material planning and delivery dates and times
  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics team to ensure OTIF deliveries
  • Understand technical / construction drawings and specifications
  • Provide estimates / pricing for installations
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure safe, efficient and effective high quality installations
  • Handle instructions, such as variations and negotiate standing time or other issues relating to prime costs
  • Provide quotations for minor works, defects and return visits
  • Preparing and issuing installation progress reports
  • Maintain a schedule of costs
  • Dealing with subcontractors when required
  • Ensuring quality and HSE requirements are complied with at all timess.
  • Act as a central point of contact for clients and internal departments for all queries regarding contracts
  • Work in compliance with the Companys QA, H&S, ISO systems and procedures.

  • Understand customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Criteria Essential Desirable
  • Understanding of construction contract terms and conditions and the legal requirements
