Job Description

Walker Cole International are seeking a Compliance Manager (ABPI) to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company in the West Yorkshire region. The role is to lead, manage and further develop the Compliance Function in the UK Business and work collaboratively withother UK affiliates.Your responsibilities will be:

  • Point of contact for all compliance related topics, enquiries and activities whilst providing day to day advice and guidance to the business on compliance and risk management related matters.
  • Subject Matter Expertise with regulatory and legislative changes,particularly key changes to the ABPI Code of Practice, UK Bribery Act and FCPA, drive any changes to policy and behaviour in response to these.
  • Investigate and report on compliance violations, managing the regulatory adherence to legislation (MHRA Blue Guide) by the UK Business.
  • Take the lead in stakeholder training and to ensure that procedures and records are up to date along with maintaining communication across our Global business. Work closely with HCPs to ensure compliance.
The successful candidate will have
  • Knowledge and prior experience of applying the ABPI code of practice/MHRA Blue Guide to ensure compliance is maintained in a business
  • Proven track record on investigating compliance breaches and responding to issues through implementing risk based solutions
  • Experience of writing and implementing new procedures.
