Job Description

Summary Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator.The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all timesyou can guarantee that no day is the same so youll have to love variety. As well as supporting day to day operations, youll have the chance to support a variety of projectsand offer your advice beyond your team. Youll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think theres a better way of doing something.This role requires one full day at Hardcastle Crags per week (7.5 hours), plus 15 hours at Marsden Moor.The 15 hours at Marsden Moor must cover 10am to 3pm on a Friday, but can otherwise be flexible.Please include a covering letter with your CV stating your suitabilityfor the role. What its like to work here This role will be based at Marsden Moor and Hardcastle Crags with occasional cover for East Riddlesden Hall. The West Yorkshire group of National Trust properties offers a diversity of setting, from rugged moorland and beautiful woodland to historic buildingsand formal gardens. These are special places to work.The office at Marsden Moor is located within the town of Marsden, surrounded by the impressive moorland, whereas Hardcastle Crags has its off-grid office at Gibson Mill, within the woodland, next to the river; away from the rush of everyday life.You will be working alongside National Trust staff and volunteers, supporting the teams to carry out important conservation work, promote enjoyment of National Trust spaces and to offer visitors a fantastic welcome.Click here for more information about these propertiesHardcastle Crags | National TrustMarsden Moor | National Trust What youll be doing Known for your exceptional organisational skills and your love of delivering first class support, youll provide a comprehensive administration service to your properties. As well as managing the property email inbox and calendar, you will be responsiblefor the smooth running of the Marsden Moor office, including carrying out facilities management tasks, welcoming contractors and monitoring compliance. You will issue licenses for event organisers and carry out banking across two sites. You will also supportyour colleagues with procurement and invoicing. Youll be confident using a variety of IT packages to create reports, keep accurate records, and write timely and accurate internal/external communications. Youll run a tight ship and will soon be the go toperson for your team. Who were looking for

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Great team player
  • Flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Well organised and attention to detail
  • Advanced IT Skills
