Our client is an award winning provider of some of the most innovative life, health and investments products on the market today. As part of their continued growth plans, they are seeking to appoint a business development manager to work within West & NorthYorks area.Your will be to work with a panel of existing intermediaries with a remit to maximise the business potential from them in addition to introducing new intermediaries to the their panel.To be considered you must have a background within protection sales with a clear understanding of the protection market within the UK. A successful business development manager has the ability to influence and build credibility within a very competitive marketplace. They achieve this by providing their panel with strong product and technical knowledge coupled with the ability to get tounderstanding their clients business and how best to support them. In addition they are able to demonstrate that they have experience in using their own initiative, planning daily activities to maximise business opportunities and support their panel of intermediariesas required.The products are industry leading and the company name will be known by all. However this does not take away from the fact that as the local business development consultant you will need to be proactive in your planning to ensure your panels business ismaximised and that networking for new business is at the fore front of what you do on a daily basis.The basic salary is negotiable dependent upon experience, in addition there is a bonus element to the role. The successful candidate should be seeing a basic plus bonus income in excess of £55,000 in the first year.This role is home based so you must be able work effectively from home and have the drive and determination to plan your own activity. Comprehensive initial and ongoing training will be provided as will all the tools to ensure you can deliver exceptionalservice to your panel.This role will suit someone who can deliver bottom line results through proactive planning, product and industry knowledge.
