Job Description

Business Development ManagerM62 Corridor - UKWith over 30-years of history and reporting to the Group Sales Manager, we are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to manage and grow an established geographical customer base covering the M62 Corridor. Developing existing business as well asidentifying and securing new business, you will have a dynamic approach and experience specialising in industrial hose, hydraulics, pneumatics and/or other relating site services. This is a work from home role and reports to the Teeside office.Having a commitment and experience in field sales within a similar industry, our client has 5 branches across the UK, all growing based on positive customer engagement and the supply of qualified goods and services.Responsibilities- Develop and maintain existing accounts ensuring increased and repeat sales- Seek new business opportunities and build positive, lasting relationships- Develop your knowledge of company products to assist in promoting them- Work with the Internal Sales Team to ensure all opportunities are investigated- Regularly communicate all activity to relevant people / systemsEssential Skills and Experience:- Sales, presentation and negotiation skills- Strong organisational skills, planning ability and self-motivation- Sales experience with engineering-based products- Be able to demonstrate a successful sales background- Have excellent written and oral communication skills- B2B area sales management (2 years required)- Able to demonstrate and be passionate about providing a first-class customer service- Full, clean driving licenceDesirable Skills:- Have an understanding of engineering- Have previous experience industrial hose and/or hydraulics- Have knowledge of the food and beverage / chemical industry- Have knowledge of fluid power productsTo remain competitive, it is important that as a business our client is responsive to the opening of new markets and can react quickly to any competition.
