Job Description

Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for this omni channel fashion retail business. The business has over 100 stores and strong presence online and also via their members club.The business is looking to add to their omnichannel & trading team to drive forward their stores & online strategy to provide a seamless Customer Experience.The roles and responsibilities for Assistant Buyer -

  • Assist in all aspects of supplier management and correspondence.·
  • Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis both in the UK and FE, building strong relationships.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret product, market and customer information to establish UK trend alongside Buyer/Assistant.
  • Assists in the preparation of internal meetings including Product Framework, Selection and Sign-Off reviews.
  • Attend various stores producing qualitative store reports to the Buying and Merchandising team.·
  • To attend and complete selected internal & external training courses as required
  • Proactively implements best practice procedures for the department·
Requirements for Assistant Buyer position -
  • Youll be a graduate or graduate calibre ideally from a Retail, Fashion, Design or Buying & Merchandising background
  • That you have some experience as a Buyers Assistant, Buying Administration Assistant /Senior Buying Assistant within the Retail or Fashion sector
  • The ability to work under pressure and take initiative
  • Good communication & organisational skills
  • Good team player
