The Company Recruiting for Area Sales Manager - Construction Products:Due to expansion, this is a rare opportunity to join a global manufacturing company which has been established for nearly 100 years and employs more than 20,000 people around the world. This organisation is renowned for its product quality and innovation, its integrity and a company ethos that empowers its employees to develop and progress.The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager - Building Products:As Area Sales Manager, your remit will be to sell a range of building chemical products into a receptive base of accounts across Lancashire and Yorkshire. Dealing with independent builders merchants and buying groups, your role will be to upsell within accountsand introduce new product ranges to your clients as they come onto the market. Dealing with Branch Managers, Owners and Buyers, this exciting position will play to the strengths of those who enjoy developing long term relationships and excel in a fast pacedenvironment.For the position of Area Sales Manager - Construction Products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Managed a sales territory
  • Must have sold to builders merchants or other types of trade wholesalers such as plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers, ideally independents or buying groups
  • Ambitious and driven to further their career
  • Structured and organised approach to sales
  • Excellent team working ability
  • Must be well presented, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Great relationship and account management skills
  • Driving licence & experience of using a CRM system
Benefits of this Area Sales Manager - Building Products:
  • £40,000 - £45,000 base salary, plus 20% bonus
  • Company car, hybrid and fully electric models available or allowance
  • £8.00 per day lunch allowance
