Adolescents Support Worker Search Consultancy are working with a large provider of care for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. The emphasis of this job will be administering care and support to children and adolescence. The ideal candidate will have previously completed PMVA or MAPA training.You must have previous experience working with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is essential you have at least 6 months previous experience working in a similar setting in the UK.Working flexible hours through the week, you will be expected to:- Provide support to children and young adults- Follow care plans for the service users and engage with them- Administer care, including personal hygiene if necessary- Ensure the well-being of service users, adhering to CQC care standards- De-escalate challenging situationsSearch are particularly interested to hear from applicants who:- Have at least 6 months UK based experience in care to vulnerable children and are able to provide up to date and satisfactory references- Have completed and are willing to take further training in moving and handling, first aid and basic health and safety.- Have completed PMVA or MAPA TrainingIf you have the above experience, please contact us asap and send us your CV to .
