Taskmaster Resources Ltd in Huddersfield are looking to recruit an experienced administrator for 2 months work at the University of Huddersfield from Tuesday 30th August. 37 hrs per week for 2 months-this is an excellent position, working in a busy departmentof the University, a prominent local employer,1. The RoleThe post of Administrative Assistant reports to the Senior Administrative Officer and its main objectives are:To provide a high quality professional administrative and customer focused service with the ability to multi task in a busy and variable environment.To provide a confidential, efficient and effective administrative service to the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team.Main duties and responsibilities are as follows: Provide an effective interface between the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team and their internal/external contacts and dealing with enquiries on their behalf. Receiving and dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails in a polite and professionalmanner and using initiative to deal with queries on behalf of the department where possible and otherwise redirecting or taking messages. To service meetings including room bookings, preparing and circulating agendas and taking accurate minutes. To arrange and co-ordinate Team meetings internally and externally. To manage all travel arrangement for members of the team, including hotels, hire cars, rail travels, etc. Checking and refilling photocopiers and printers, reporting any faults. Maintaining kitchen/refreshment points, clearing up after meetings, overseeing communal areas. Collate and prepare articles, with assistance, for the Estates and Facilities quarterly Newsletter. Act as contact point for staff members calling in sick and recording sickness absence on iTrent. Maintaining stationery stock levels and placing orders as required. Ordering replacement mobile phones and IT procurement for the Team as and when authorised by Senior Management. Assisting with Estates and Facilities events as and when required by the Team.
