Job Description

Role: Account managerSalary: £24,000 + commission + BonusLocation: HuddersfieldPermanent full time 9:0017:00 About the company:They are a family run manufacturing company based in Huddersfield. They have a wide range of eco-friendly brands and home furnishings including Doormats, Rugs, Soft Furnishings and Home Accessories. They supply nationwide to Garden Centres, Gift Shops, CarpetShops and Online and have worked with customers for many years.About You:Are you self motivated and passionate Do you enjoy interacting with customers Will you deliver and go the extra mile to build relationships Can you be part of a team that pride themselves on serviceAbout the Role:Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships through contact by phone and email
  • Opportunity to visit local customers to show products and merchandise stands
  • Managing online customers, provide images, product data and support
  • Delivering quarterly range reviews to our customers putting forward new products and opportunities to increase our ranges in store and online
  • Prospecting new customers by telephone and email
  • Attending exhibitions and trade shows as required
  • Updating CRM systems in line with processes
  • Contacting clients & prospects to inform them about new product ranges and company developments, ensuring the client is satisfied with our products and services
  • Creating presentation, quotations, and proposals
  • Promoting the company brand
  • Hitting monthly targets and growing turnover
  • Supporting the external Sales team from the office as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an account manager role preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to work efficiently and a drive to improvecontinuously
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Confident and Friendly telephone manner
  • Good written communication skills
  • An ability to work on your own initiative
  • Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial
  • Proficient MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • PowerPoint experience an advantage!
