Job Description

Access & Security Field EngineerManchester/Huddersfield/Leeds£35-45k+ Vehicle & Full Benefits PackageWe are currently seeking anAccess & Security Field Engineer, with our client, an established security & automation engineering company, this role is based in the local area.We have a requirement for staff, due to a number of new contracts won within the business.Responsibilities for Access & Security Field Engineer

  • Installation of automated gate systems, barriers, bollards, intercom systems and access controls.
  • Fault finding and remedial works to existing systems.
  • Control panel wiring
  • Accurate recording of all job notes, and materials used.
  • High level of housekeeping, professionalism, and cost-effective use of stock.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings.
  • First fix capabilities: Installation cabling, ducting, posts etc.
  • Site Welding capabilities
  • Strong personal/customer skills
  • Intercom commissioning and technical wiring
  • Fault finding abilities.
Skills/Experience required for Access & Security Field Engineer:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings.
  • First fix capabilities: Installation cabling, ducting, posts etc.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong personal/customer skills
  • Intercom commissioning and technical wiring
  • Fault finding abilities.
