Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Robotics and PLC Software Engineer to join an established, dynamic and exciting team of development Engineers working on bespoke manufacturing automation equipment fromnew state of the art premises just off the M1 at Junction 36 (Between Sheffield and Leeds).The role will be focussed on the design and programming of new and ongoing robotic automation projects.The successful candidate will have experience with programming robotic systems and software.You will be involved in the full lifecycle of design and programming of robotic applications to meet customer specifications. Experience in ABB and Universal products would be ideal, but cross platform training could be provided for someone only familiar with other brands of robot. Knowledge of robot safety in application and system designs. A get-it-done attitude, creativity, problem solving. A proven ability to deliver robust programming solutions. Previous experience with camera / vision systems would be a benefit, but not essential.
