Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Customs Brokerage person for a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.-Dealing with import and export air and roadfreight.Duties:-

  • Ensure all customs clearance declarations are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the Customs Clearance Coordinators to ensure all consignments are customs cleared in a timely manner working to the prescribed Service Level Agreement with the Client.
  • Resolve any Customs issues and liaise with the Warehouse Teams / HMRC should inspections be required.
  • Manage own workload of a large number of customs clearance entries
  • Process and clear a large number of consignments will be essential in this fast paced environment.
    • Experience Required:-
  • Previous Customs Clearance experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.
