Job Description

HLTAHounslow (Feltham)ASAP startPhonics experience required95-130 per daySANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for a Year 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start immediately and will be until at least July 2023. The school is proud to offer a diverse and challenging curriculum that prepares students for secondary school, and the world beyond formal education. The school has created a "buzzing" environment guided by a philosophy that focuses on a complete and holistic view of education.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will need to:

  • Support in Year 3 each day
  • Run and prepare interventions
  • Cover whole classes/ teach- delivering the Year 3 curriculum at least twice a week (and more if there is any absence)
  • Be part of the Year 3 team for planning and meetings
ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will:
  • Have a desire to encourage student aspiration
  • Be able to provide students with opportunities for success, and encourage them to take risks with their learning tasks
  • Be able to work 1:1 or in small groups when required
  • Have the ability to cover/teach Year 5 classes when required
  • Be able to plan and resource as part of a team, and work in collaboration
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and staff
