HLTAYear 3Hounslow(Feltham)September 2023SANZATeaching Agency are currently recruiting for aYear 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant(HLTA)!Are you for a new and exciting opportunity to join a fantastic school that is committed to enjoyment and development for both staff and studentsABOUT THE SCHOOLThe school is a lively, 3-form entry Primary School located in the London Borough ofHounslow(Feltham). The school is proud to offer adiverseandchallengingcurriculum that prepares students for secondary school, and the world beyond formal education.The school has created a"buzzing"environment guided by aphilosophythat focuses on acompleteandholistic viewof education.The school is committed to staff development and welcomes applications from those who are interested in completing teacher training.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Year 3HLTA, you will need to:

  • Support in Year 3 each day
  • Run and prepare interventions
  • Cover whole classes/ teach- delivering the Year 3 curriculum at least twice a week (and more if there is any absence)
  • Be part of the Year 3 team for planning and meetings
ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience as aHLTA
  • Ideally hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have a desire to encourage student aspiration
  • Be able to provide students with opportunities for success, and encourage them to take risks with their learning tasks
  • Be able to work 1:1 or in small groups when required
  • Have the ability to cover/teach Year 3 classes when required
  • Be able to plan and resource as part of a team, and work in collaboration
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and staff
