Job Description

Our client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord injury, Acquired Brain injury andother Neurological conditions.We have an exciting opportunity for a Female Care Assistant to join a new specialist care team to assist and support a gentleman with a Spinal Cord injury living with his daughter in his own home in the Hounslow area.The Role:

  • Full assistance with personal care including catheter and bowel care
  • Providing support for this gentleman in all aspects of daily life and assisting in social activities/outings, therapies and accompanying him on holidays
  • Support with medication
  • Support with food preparation (including Lithuanian meals) and domestic tasks
  • Supporting client to go out on his hand bike to visit the shops
  • Would benefit from someone who speaks Lithuanian or Russian
About You:
  • You will be trustworthy, reliable, open and honest. You will also be proactive and flexible and an active individual who is also able to use their own initiative.
  • You must be willing to go on holiday with the client
  • You must be willing to undertake domestic duties
  • You will be working in this gentlemans own home and would need to be mindful and respectful of privacy.
  • It is a non-smoking environment
