Job Description

Art TeacherAttention all Art Teachers! Tradewind Recruitment is working with a brilliant school based in Hounslow seeking an exceptional and passionate educator to join their successful Art Department for a year-long maternity absence starting immediately. As mentioned,the role is based in the borough of Hounslow, West London, however it is accessible from across the capital.The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE in Art or equivalent.
  • Similarly, a degree in Art Education or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification recognized by the UK government.
  • Strong experience in teaching Art to secondary school students.
  • A passion for nurturing creativity and a love of Art in students.
  • Be able to start immediately or from February half-term 2024.
  • The ability to inspire and engage students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • To join us and be successful in this Art Teacher role you will need to:
  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
