We are seeking to appoint a Lead IT Engineer to work across our Trust of schools. The successful candidate will play a key role in the support of all of our schools. As the Trust is in an exciting stage of growth, there will be a lot of opportunities forthe successful candidate to further improve their technical skills and expertise as we continue build our centralised IT infrastructure for the Trust.The Trust is in an exciting stage of growth.The Diocese has a growth plan for our Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools into the Trust by July 2022.POST TITLE: Lead IT EngineerGRADE: Band 6RESPONSIBLE TO: IT ManagerOverall Objectives of the Post:To manage the Trusts IT services through the delivery of internal projects, technical management of server/client/cloud systems and Problem Management. As part of the Change Control Team you will be tasked with identifying the root cause of all problemsthat are escalated from the IT Engineers in the Trust and design, test, document and implement the necessary changes and fixes.Key Tasks of the Post: 1.
