Job Description

REED HR are supporting an award winning organisation based in Gatwickwith the recruitment within their L&Dteam on a 12 month FTC.Purpose of Role: To identify the current and future skills of the organization and create flexible interventions, putting in place learning initiatives to enable us to grow and remain agile in a competitive environment.Reports to: HR DirectorKey Responsibilities:

  • Development of L&D Strategic Programme in conjunction with the HR Director to maximize L&D budget and return on investment
  • Responsible for compliance of Learning and Development activities to deliver positive audit outcomes as set out in the Training standard operating procedure
  • Design of blended learning solutions to generate a culture of high performance through encouraging self-directed learning and a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Promote organisational development through role analysis and generation of new roles/functions in consultation with business managers
  • Responsible for delivering the Performance Management and Talent Development systems (Oracle Fusion)
  • Identification and co-ordination of training and development needs within the organisation through consultation with HR Director and business managers as outlined in SOP-0124 (Training)
  • Design of employee orientation programmes (new starter; new line manager; change in role; company induction and quality programme
  • Establishment of line manager development programme in conjunction with the HR Director Collaborate closely with CMSE on European learning initiatives
  • Identify and liaise with training partners to develop learning content and best method of delivery
  • Overseemandatory compliance programme in conjunction with the HR Support function/QA Department
  • Responsibility for functionality of e-learning platformAstuteand be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
  • Producing training materials for in-house courses
  • Generate training needs analysis and develop and evaluate training outcomes
  • Development of own skills, knowledge and experience in line with [CIPD professional map and work towards achievement of CIPD Level 5 qualification.]
Experience/Qualifications Required1. Good standard of general education with good written and spoken English2. Qualification or equivalent specialist experience of learning and development3. Competent in the use of MS Office4. Track record of providing exceptional learning and development support in a process driven environment5. Must have a governance/compliance mindset to minimise risks and identify gaps6. High level of attention to detail7. Must be self-directed and able to work independently8. Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate at all levels within the organisation9. Literate in IT systems and databases (experience with Oracle Fusion/Delta-net desirable)10. Minimum CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Level 3/or L&D equivalent11.
