Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing organisation in the Horsham areaas a Finance and Corporate Service Manger. Reporting to the MD this role will assist in strategically lead and manage the financial, premises, personnel, IT and administrative aspects of the business. Specific duties will include:*Implement financial decisions of MD and Board of Directors*Advise on investment and financial policy, preparing appraisal for future projects and development of long term financial strategy*Maximise income generation*Preparing detailed budget for the group*Analyse financial management information*Monitor and control income and expenditure*Preparing financial returns*Providing guidance and leadership for support staff, recruitment and inductions*Introduce and maintain performance management system*Have a good knowledge of Sage and other accounting systems*Human resources Management including new employee checks, maintaining staff records, ensuring HR and systems are salary reviews*Working with Facilities Manager to implement premises and site decisions*Planning and implementation on site of new capital and refurbishment projects*Negotiate and monitor contracts*Risk management including health and safely*Prepare disaster recovery plan*Improve and implement procedures and policies*Attending meetings*Help promote the Business and profile in the local community*Overseeing support staffIdeal candidate will have good all round finance, HR and administration experience and have a good working knowledge of budget management. Ability to multi task and prioritise is essential as excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Hours are 8.30-4.30 (although these are flexible) with 25 days holiday. Previous experience working within a School or Care Home environment is high desirable but not essential.
