Job title: Site Maintenance Operative/Production AssistantJob location: Hope Vally, Near SheffieldRemuneration: £10.35 to £10.60 per hourShifts: DaysHours per week: 39Duration: Initially a 3 month contract but this may be extended and become permanentStart date: Subject to Interview and availabilityIndustries considered: Maintenance, Facilities, Cleaning and Janitorial DutiesDisciplines considered: Facilities, General Maintenance and Site CleaningClient Summary:Leading Player in the Global Rail Freight and Logistics MarketPosition SummaryWe are currently seeking to engage a Site Support Operative for our Depot based in Hope Valley, Nr Sheffield, DerbyshireWe are seeking an operative to support the daily upkeep of a busy Engineering Maintenance Depot.The position has a broad responsibility in providing an all-encompassing service to the Depot in ensuring that general work areas, offices, bathrooms, shop floor and all Real Estate is kept clean and safe, maintained and serviceable at all times. Bins shouldbe emptied on a regular basis whilst bathrooms/washrooms require regular attention to ensuring a high standard of cleanliness at all timesThere is a need to undertake basic maintenance jobs such as the changing of locks, door handles and other DiY / handy person related duties. The role requires a pro-active approach to the general maintenance and upkeep of the site, previous experience of successin a similar role highly desirable as is the knowledge of CoSHH procedures for the use of cleaning materials and equipment. Person Profile/Experience:We are looking for a Team Player to oversee the general cleanliness and maintenance of a busy Rolling Stock Maintenance Depot.
