Couples Job Hope Valley Peak District Derbyshire(83859) Our client is looking for an experienced Couple to help them run this new home to them which is set in the stunning Hope Valley area of Derbyshire. This will be the main family home (2 children at boarding school) and the family are relaxed and informal in nature.They are looking for a couple who has experience who can help them move into the property and then establish routines for housekeeping and maintenance.The main duties will be:Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironingSome cooking for the family - if you are able to cater for occasional parties then this would be a bonus although not essentialShoppingRunning errandsMeeting and greeting guests / front of houseGeneral property maintenance - being hands on and working alongside the clients existing maintenance teamGardening - this is flexible as there is a gardening team who can come onsite for general maintenance gardening. Either you should be able to do a minimum of general maintenance gardening or have more horticultural skills and knowledge and be able to work with the owner to maintain the more formal gardens and kitchen gardens around the property.The family have a dog so you may be asked to help with some dog care / walkingDriving and keeping the family cars clean and maintainedLooking after the security of the propertyThis is a lovely local with very good train access into both Manchester and Sheffield and a short walk from the nearest town / village.This is a very flexible role for an informal and relaxed family so really they are looking for the right couple rather than being strict on the skill set that the couple will bring - as long as they are experienced.Accommodation will be a renovated 2 bed annex which is separate but at the back of the main property. Furnished or unfurnished - pets considered, sorry no dependants.Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed on weekendsSeptember 2020 startCar can be provided£50,000+ GPA Required skills
