Job Description

Butler Rose are currently partnered with an award winning artisanal food producer in the East Devon area who have a current requirement for a Technical ManagerAs the Technical Manager, youll be at the helm of Quality & Technical processes, ensuring operational and product compliance while fostering a culture of food safety and excellence. Collaborating closely with the wider team, youll champion continuous improvement,steering the business towards even greater success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and enhance BRC standard to guarantee the highest quality standards.
  • Spearhead regular HACCP team meetings, ensuring continual review and adaptation for new products and processes.
  • Maintain and regularly review standard operating and cleaning procedures.
  • Champion document control systems, drafting necessary documents.
  • Keep the management team abreast of industry advancements, legislative changes, and risks to raw material authenticity.
  • Ensure receipt of certificates of analysis for all relevant products and report non-conformances.
  • Conduct routine audits of the manufacturing process to uphold consistent product quality.
  • Verify and audit Critical Control Points (CCPs) while ensuring comprehensive documentation.
  • Oversee an integrated Pest Control policy in collaboration with external providers.
