Job Description

Butler Rose are currently assisting a FMCG manufacturer in the Honiton area who have a current requirement for a Technical Administrator to work with the organisations technical and production teams to the deliver operational support for the day to dayfunctioning of the business. The role is fast-paced and wide ranging in scope, and will see the chosen person assist with the following duties:

  • Overseeing product development administration tasks and their transfer to the production department.
  • Creating and approving raw materials, artwork, and packaging.
  • Aiding in the approval of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and overseeing changes to products.
  • Supporting the handling of supplier non-compliance issues.
  • Providing assistance with product development samples as needed.
  • Participating in the training program for new employees on technical procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Comprehending and appropriately filing laboratory results, while sharing relevant information when necessary.
  • Assisting in the development or revision of policies and documentation in line with industry best practices.
  • Aiding in the coordination and management of materials on hold, quarantined products, returns, and rework.
To be chosen for the role you must possess the following skills/experience
  • Strong organisational, communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Package
  • Permanent Monday to Friday role
  • Salary up to £30,000
  • Hybrid working available
