Job Description

Ref 7853We are currently looking for a number of individuals who would be willing to support a fast growing business t o deliver exceptional quality on all MDU (Multi-Dwelling-Unit) platforms, through interaction with the public & contractors and ensure Contractorsare following AS builds and all Health & Safety precautions.Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Hard or soft copy of AS builds (Drawings of Planned infrastructure)
  • Interacting with public/contractors
  • Implementing work pack designs (Full training given)
  • Ensuring daily updates are reported to the supervisor daily
  • Working in line with Planning Teams, including identifying quality issues and reporting
  • Undertaking quality checks within build complete and Service Delivery within three days of completion
  • Driving compliance within Safety and Quality
  • Ensuring contractors are building within work pack design
  • Splicing in MDU network (if applicable) (Splicing skills no essential)
  • Integration of the OSP network into a GIS platform, creating network documentation procedures and defining best practices for managing a fibre optic plant
Candidate Requirements: Qualifications:
  • SA002 Underground Safety accredited is an asset (not essentialtraining will be given)
  • A good understanding of fibre infrastructure
  • MDU/MBU experience preferred
  • NRSWA operative course preferred
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a public-facing role
  • Must hold a valid driving license and have a satisfactory driving record
