Job Description

TQR Exeter are working in partnership with a high end rural luxury lodge park in the beautiful Devon countryside and hiring a permanent, part time Cook to join their bistro team on a 24 hour contract that consists of 4 days per week.This exciting new position would suit someone looking to start their chef career or is wanting to take a step back from the hussle and bussle of busy kitchens.What is in it for you

As a Cook, you will be required to:
  • Cook Pizzas and Burgers from fresh off a small menu
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Recommend ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
  • Handle multiple food orders and getting them to the customer in a timely manner
  • Labelling & storing all food properly
  • Sanitising and cleaning work stations and utensils
  • Assisting with preparation as and when needed and cleaning down at the end of the shift
To apply the Cook will have:
  • Previous experience cooking from scratch
  • The drive to succeed and to learn
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene or willing to undergo one (costs will be covered)
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Good high standards of food hygiene and sanitation
  • Access to own transport due to location
