Do you want to work within a fast-growing, dynamic, supportive, and fun companyOur client is looking to hire a Civil Avoidance Operative to join their growing team.Salary / Perks / Benefits* £28K salary* Access to private GP and Mental Health services* 25 days annual leave + bank holidaysKey duties and responsibilities will include:* Working alongside the gully sucking vehicle or jetting trailers where needed when requested by the Civil Avoidance Team Supervisor* Rod and Rope network where needed when requested by the avoidance supervisor* Working alongside the Gully Sucking / Civil Avoidance Team Operatives to ensure works are completed in a safe manner and in line with business expectations.* Provide feedback on issues to the Supervisor* Work with the supervisors to come up with solutions on issued sections of PIA.* Strive to achieve personal, team and company KPIs and Objectives in line with the companys performance incentive payment* Note that working safely is a continuing condition of employment. * Any ad-hoc duties as directed by the Civil Avoidance Team ManagerQualifications/Experience:* Minimum 2 years construction experience within the Telecoms sector* NRSWA certificate for operatives ( Mandatory )* CSCS Card* Full valid driving licence* Class 2 ( Highly Desired )Relevant experience, indicating that the candidate has:* A clear understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements* Ability to respect and follow safety procedures and to ensure others do so, too* Problem solver and solution provider* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Excellent people skills and telephone manner* Experience of PIA (essential)* Ability to oversee projects with strict deadlines* Aptitude to motivate, challenge and support a team* Detail-oriented and analytical* Adaptable to change* Ability to self-motivate and work well within a team* Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly* A general ability to learn and use a variety of software/apps/digital media* Can-do attitude and open-minded to changes and process enhancementIf you have the experience required to fulfil this role then we would love to hear from you!King Recruit is committed to the selection, recruitment of the best people, basing judgments solely on suitability for the job.
