Reed Education are currently recruiting for face to face Primary and Secondary Tutors to work for us delivering tuition to schools who require covid catch up help through the National Tuition Programme (NTP).The NTP aims to help disadvantaged pupils in schools who are struggling to catch up to national attainment level due to the adverse effects of absence during Covid19 when schools were shut. Prior to your booking starting therefore, you will meet with thechilds teacher / Head of Year and discuss exactly what they need support with. You will then be responsible for planning and delivering a one-hour lesson around that topic / subject to the child and/or group.Tuition can be one to one, or up to a maximum of six pupils in one groupif you do deliver to a group of six, then Reed always try and ensure that the school are pooling together children with similar struggles, so you arent teaching a multitude of differentsessions in the same hour.Each child / group has the maximum of fifteen hours tuitionand so a school could decide they want one hour a week for fifteen weeks, or it could be two hours a week for seven and a half weeks.
