Experienced Teaching Assistant needed ASAP at a School in Holmes ChapelAre you a naturally kind and supportive person who has experience supporting children suffering from adverse childhood experiences and traumaTeaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in Holmes Chapel who are looking for an outgoing and driven Teaching Assistant to join their team after the Christmas holiday, in January 2023. A successful applicant has the potential stay with theschool on a rolling contract if they are excelling in the school environment. This role offers the potential to earn up to £1800PCM (depending on experience).Key role responsibilities:-Working 1:1 with students who have suffered from adverse childhood experiences, trauma and anxiety.-Motivate and support students so that they can succeed with the next steps working towards mainstream education.-Offering detailed feedback on this students progress and development to teachers, parents and higher members of the school authority.The school are looking for a determined and patient Teaching Assistant who is experienced and genuinely passionate about working with children. It is essential that applicants are flexible and willing to help with a variety of subjects. It would be reallybeneficial if applicants have worked with children suffering from anxiety and mental health issues previously. This role offers the opportunity to really make a difference.The school is situated in the South of Manchester, Holmes Chapel area and is within walking distance to local public transport links, and also has a large and secure onsite car park.This advert is for a temporary position.
