Job Description

Facilities EngineerGlobal Pharmaceutical CompanyCheshire£50,000 to £60,000 + PackageBenefits include:

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:To provide technical support to the Site Engineering team to resolve engineering related issues.Main Responsibilities:The Facilities Engineer will provide technical support to the Site Engineering function to enable solutions to engineering related problems on site and identify practicable designs to prevent reoccurrence.You will carry out structured problem solving processes in order to achieve the above (FMEA, Gemba problem solving, 8D, TRIZ, fishbone, 5 whys etc.).You will administer the handover of projects into maintenance by ensuring that drawings have been updated, EDFs are in place, maintenance appraisals and instrument categorisations are completed etc.The Facilities Engineer will ensure that all equipment and systems that are subject to statutory inspections are registered, inspection programmes are current and inspection records are maintained.You will provide support to engineering shutdown planning and preparation.Qualifications/ Skills & Attributes:
  • The Facilities Engineer must have a Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar (building Services or Maintenance will be desirable).
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated industry such as Pharmaceutical, Food Production, Chemical, Cosmetic Production
