About The Manufacturing CompanyMy client is a manufacturer looking to hire an Office Manager as soon as possible due to recent success. You will be part of a modern and vibrant office with a friendly, welcoming and hard-working culture. Working with some of the UKs biggest retailers such as Amazon and Harrods, you will have the chance to work with some of most sought after products in the country.Reporting directly in to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have the ability to progress their career and develop their skills in office and people management.About The Office Manager RoleAs an Office Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to excel in a supportive and successful environment whilst using your expertise in mentoring other staff.Key Responsibilities for the Office Manager:

  • Management and supporting up to 4 office staff. This can include daily training of office processes.
  • Inputting orders from major accounts and clients and working with the warehouse team to ensure target delivery times are achieved.
  • Being the first point of contact on the phone and via email for major accounts dealing with customer service issues.
  • Creating and maintaining work schedules for office staff including organising and prioritising workload.
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to ensure company objectives are met.
  • About The Successful Office ManagerIf you are currently an Office Manager and have relevant experience then this could be an ideal step in your career.Desired Skills and Competencies of the Office Manager:
  • The ability to multi-task whilst maintaining exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of people management and experience in logistics and operations.
  • Pegasus Opera experience is highly advantageous.
  • Must be located in North London or in the surrounding counties (Bedfordshire, Hertforshire, Essex etc).
