We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well establish housing provider in London for a temporary Service Charge Manager.Overall Responsibility:The Service Charge Team Manager will use expert leasehold and service charge knowledge to successfully lead a team responsible for the accurate and timely billing of annual service charges and rent setting. You will examine, develop and implement strategiesto improve the accuracy of billing, maximise service charge income and improve the overall effectiveness of our customer service offer to customers.• Ability to effectively manage a team and direct resources• Knowledge and/or experience of budget management and appropriate controls• Experience and detailed understanding of Service Charges, Housing and/or Residential Property Management• Knowledge of the legal and statutory framework around home ownership & service charges and preparing legal cases for Courts and Tribunals• Experience of working in a customer service environment• Ability to explain complex or technical information to a variety of audiences – both internal and external.• Knowledge and/or experience of budget management and appropriate controlsHourly rate £41ph umbrella, flexible hybrid working, 3x days in Farringdon and 2x days at home. 37.5 hours per week.If you would like to be considered, please contact Mel Applin @ Reed
