Job Description

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside an Accountancy practice based in Holborn, Central London to provide them a with an Audit and Accounts Senior or Semi-Seniorto join their team on a permanentbasis! Your RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior with a professional services background to work within their Audit department.The ideal candidate will be part qualified ACA or working towards completion of ACA within a practice professional environment.JOB INFOYour Role

  • Preparation of accounts (annual and management) for companies, charities, partnerships, sole traders and all other entities.
  • Working as a member of audit teams and performing audit work in accordance with instructions given by more senior staff. This will also involve specialist audit assignments, which require different approaches to standard audit assignments.
  • Drafting tax computations and company tax returns.
  • Preparing management accounts and other information as required by the client e.g. variance analysis, cash flow forecasts.
  • Assisting with the completion of client VAT returns as required.
To be considered for this position you need to be able to demonstrate:
  • Broad experience of Accounting, Tax and Audit
  • Knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Caseware
  • Practice audit experience essential
