An opportunity has arisen for aMaintenance Operative to join the Excelcare family in Cambridgeto be part of the Regional Team for our Care Homes in Whittlesey, Histon, Cottenham, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Cambridge Town Centre and St Ives. This role offers flexibility to suit your personal circumstances.What to expect:Salary: £11.48p/h or £12.30p/hdepending on experience.45 hours a week from Monday to Friday.What you will need:We are looking for a general all-rounder who has good attention to detail with a positive can-do attitude, enjoy working in a client facing role, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.This position is the upkeep and maintenance of the Care Homes including all buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, specialist equipment and all of its general contents.As this role is varied the ideal candidate will have general experience withpainting and gardening.You will need your own transport and basic tools for the Maintenance; you will be paid for mileage.A full driving licence and vehicle is essential as travel will be required for projects or annual leave/sickness across our CambridgeCare Homes.Candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Application.If you are interested in this position, please apply online.
