Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in supporting the businessachieve their clearly defined strategy and drive profitable growth through effective and insightful financial reporting.This is a great opportunity to join a high performing finance team within an organisation that can offer a platform to further your career.Your role will encompassthe following;Leading the finance teamManagement reportingYear end reportingAnnual planningTreasury managementVAT and taxThe role requires someone who has experience of working within a high performing finance team, ideally within a professional servicesenvironment. You will have a proven track record of management and statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.It is likely your experience will include the following areas of expertise.Min 5 years experience in a management accounting or similar role (eg professional practice)Extensive experienceof monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial statementsExperience in the analysis of financial dataAbility to manage a small teamA sound knowledge of VATStrong track record of building effective relationships and the ability to build rapport, gain respect and influence stakeholdersQualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMAPlease contact Mark Wishart to discuss further
