Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Security Guards to work at a world-renowned Scientific Research Institute in Hinxton, Cambridgeshire.You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings, campus clients and visitors, and will carry out internal and external foot patrols (covering a potential 6 miles per shift)Due to the location of the site, you will need your own transport but free parking will be provided on siteYoull be working 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off 7am to 7pm/7pm to 7amMain Duties:Internal and external foot patrolsHigh level control room monitoring of access control, CCTV and alarm systems.Site entry, car park barrier control and traffic Management.After hours Reception dutiesAccurate report writing using computer-based softwareWhat you will need:SIA Licence (manned guarding or door supervisor) is essential and CCTV Licence would be desirableExperience of working within the Security Industry.Excellent communication skills both written and verbalSmart and professional appearanceAbility to use your own initiative and work as part of a diverse teamComputer literate in MS word, Excel and OutlookClean UK Driving Licence and own reliable transportWhat will you get in return
